Terrorists gave up the right to defend themselves in court the day they decided to do things like blow up 2000 people who did nothing to them. Or blow up women and children who were just trying to live their lives in peace. But who cares about the truth. YOU sure as hell don’t.
The trouble is, that the vast majority of people being killed never blew anything up, ever. The idea that a person can only be responsible for they do as an individual is important. In a roundabout way you are actually agreeing with al Qaeda, who held that innocent Americans were equally guilty of the actions of their governments, and therefore legitimate targets.
